Licking beaters...

Mason was enjoying Sunday "pre-dinner".

Weiner Dog Races!!!

Only in a Texas small town!!! Our town is the wiener dog capital of Texas, so naturally the annual wiener dog races are held here! The day started off with a parade of all the poor puppies dressed up! The funniest one was of Hillary Clinton standing on a podium, the poor dog had a wig and everything! We somehow didn't catch a picture of that one though. It was really fun. There was the races, but it was also a big carnival. Mason had a blast in the petting zoo and riding the train. We went back later that night for the fireworks. Mas didn't like them until Jes pointed out some of them looked like popcorn! He is still talking about it!

Mason on the train ride, it was his favorite part. He wanted to do it over and over!

You have to have the wiener mobile at the wiener races right!!! check out my big belly! AAHHH! I hope I don't get much bigger, I wont be able to walk!

Poor puppies!

The petting zoo

What a cute calf! He wouldn't leave Jes alone, he just kept following him everywhere!

Right after this picture was taken the duck by Jes turned around and pecked Mason right in the crotch! Mason was stunned, but didn't cry. I wish I would have caught the look on his face!

Got a sucker, a wiener dog balloon, and a deep fried twinkie, we can go home now!

Driveway!!! HOORAY!!!

After almost a whole year we finally got a driveway!!! We are so excited about it!!! We love it!!! We have been doing a ton of work on the yard this spring. We moved all the rocks from being in piles bunched up around the tree trunks to make flower beds. There are 30 trees in our front yard, so that added up to a lot of rocks that needed moving! I'm afraid my Doctor wouldn't agree that this work was "taking it easy" as he instructed me to! We also put weed stopping plastic under each one, then had to back fill each bed with soil and mulch, then plant them. We also planted 4 new trees, bringing our number of front yard trees to 34! We planted several bushes as well. We still have a few more beds to finish and plants to buy and plant. We also need to get a whole lot of soil to fill in around the driveway. It's about 4 inches from the top of the drive to the grass (or what use to be grass before the dump trucks, cement trucks and bobcat tore it all up! Now it's just rocks and dirt!) that needs to be filled in and seeded with new grass. Jes is also planning on putting in a drip system to water the flower beds. We have been doing it by hand, which takes forever! Hopefully we will be able to get it all done before Victoria is born!

It's finally coming together nicely!!! We love our new house!!!

Victoria's nursery is just about done! Here are the pictures you have all been asking for!

Horton hears a who!

I took Mason to see his first movie in a theater a few weeks ago! We had so much fun on our little date! He carried the tickets out if front of him like this the whole time. He was so excited to hand it to the ticket taker lady. We got popcorn and a drink to share, but he wouldn't share! He ate almost the whole bag!!!

I thought he looked so cute holding on to his popcorn for dear life!

He wouldn't look away from the movie for even a second so I could take his picture! He was glued!

He did start to get bored toward the end, but all in all he did really good and we had fun! I even got to take a little cat nap while he watched! (If you haven't seen it, it's a little boring)
