From the stands!

Soccer has been going really well this season! With 6 games behind us, the Fireballs haven't lost a game. We have a good team that is usually pretty responsive and plays their best. This week was Halloween weekend. So the kids painted their faces and/or colored their hair. While we usually have plenty of kids, this weekend we only had 6 players (5 play at a time). And during the 4th quarter, one kid didn't want to play anymore, and Mason was being grumpy, so I called in Victoria. We hurried and switched Mason's shin guards to Victoria and she was in to play! She did her best for a 3 year old, playing with 4 and 5 year olds. She even blocked someone (her own teammate). She loved it and is looking forward to when she can play for real.

Mason was a scary fireball!

This was when Tori blocked our player.  They both hit the ground.

Grandma Visits

Grandma Vickie came to visit for some time in October!  She came to see Mason's solo violin performance in church and to do some Christmas shopping.  We didn't get a lot of pictures during the stay, but we did manage some on one particular day.    It was a good trip.  Christmas shopping done, she got to see Mason play soccer, spend some time with the kids, and we spent a day in San Antonio.   On this particular day, we went to a museum that had a pirate exhibit!

We all had some fun in the hurricane tube!  It simulated 78 mile per hour winds.

PIRATES!

The kids were super sad when she left.  Victoria cried for hours.  Hopefully we'll see her again soon.

Halloween!

Halloween is always a fun time with the Taylor's!  For some reason it's turned into a crazy holiday with lots of decorations and many days of trick or treating.   In the past we've tried to do theme costumes; however as the kids get older, the costumes start to vary.   For this year, Mason decided to be a prince, Victoria a cat, and Aryah (by default) was a lady bug.  Jes fretted over what to be and he didn't have enough time to come up with a plan.  Hours before the first party, he pulled it together and with help from Ashlee's haircutting skills...he became an Indian.   The mohawk is extensions...but the shaved head, is real.

Jes's work has a family party each Halloween, where the kids can trick or treat and play games.

Donut eating race!  Who can eat a donut the fastest, without their hands?!?  Victoria did great, but we lost!

Victoria got to dress up for school.  This was her costume.  She was a pretty kitty cat.

Daddy was a scary Warrior Indian!

At Jes's work again.  This year the whole office went all out and REALLY decorated everywhere.  One of the offices was so scary, the kids went in for candy...and came out crying!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
For the record, next year, Mason says he'll be scary monster, Victoria says she'll be a princess, and Aryah wants to be a cute kitty.

October Activities!

It's that time again!  The weather cools down and the October activities come out.  Painting pumpkins, making cookies, coloring hair, and decorating the house!  We love the September birthday's because they kick off the season of holidays which start with October fun!

Aryah Turns 2

Our baby turned 2! She is growing so fast! She is such a funny girl, always making funny faces and being silly. She loves to make us laugh and tries very hard! She thinks she can do anything her brother and sister can do and mimics them all day long! She is also very stubborn and defiant! She loves to challenge Mom and Dad in a battle of wills, we are afraid what this will mean when she becomes a teenager!

On her birthday we opened presents...

Then we went to Chilli's for dinner, and had brownies at home!

We are so glad you are part of our family Aryah!!! We love you very much!!!
